Baking has always been a big part of our family life. Long chats into the night over rolled out dough and sweets doled out into waiting hands. From generation to generation the joy of baking was passed on from mother to daughter and many of those same baking pans and measuring spoons that our grandma baked with have become treasured baking utensils used to create the Sugarhead cupcake!
Following a career path that led me into performance, television production and marketing, my passion for baking was a constant. I was always more concerned about finding a new recipe to impress rather than climbing a corporate ladder. Following relocation to the Comox Valley and the birth of my son Markus, came some clarity that now would be the time to follow my sweet tooth and so Sugarheads came to be.
